You obviously are curious and want to know something about me if you've found your way to the Biography page.

I live in the Midwest, in the Dairy State. I've lived here all my life and I can't imagine living anywhere else since I'm so used to, and in love with, this environment. The change of seasons is something I look forward to four times per year and, yes, I even like the snow. I just wish it wouldn't fall on the roads.

When people ask my occupation I typically respond "property manager." Although that's my actual occupation, my profession is more along the lines of daydreamer and storyteller. I prefer storyteller, because saying that I am a writer sounds presumptuous somehow. The term "author" sounds more like someone who has had numerous pieces of their work actually published; I don't fall into that category either. So, storyteller it is. Daydreamer is fairly accurate as well, since I spend most of my waking hours thinking about stories: scenes, dialogue, characters who are waiting to have life breathed into them. Daydreaming is almost a full-time job; I'm amazed I have time to do mundane things like changing out the furnace filter.

I'm old enough to know better, yet still young enough to be curious. Hmmm...musn't forget talented, charming, witty, intelligent, beautiful, gracious...oh, and uh...modest. I also have a wicked sense of humor.

Some of my favorite things are word games, reading, movies, crafting, cats and collecting cookbooks (I read them like novels), birdhouses and snowmen. I'm entranced by the Internet and the World Wide Web and spend quite a bit of time online.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Communication and have taken a number of imaginative writing classes over the last twenty-five years. My favorite authors include Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Diana Gabaldon and Caleb Carr.
